Thenkasi, the greate saral city,is one of the good and big cities in Tirunelveli Dt., Tamil Nadu,India. Parakkirama Pandia - one of the kings of Pandian kingdom built a big Siva temple. Tenkasi (South Kasi) means Varanasi of South. Near to this city Courtallam - famous nature falls is located. Also this city is very famous for drizziling.

This city is very well connected with other cities by Bus and Trains. Buses & trains are available from Tirunelveli, Madurai and part of Kerala cities.
