Branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the medieval art and architecture of Europe. Made possible by a grant and artwork from John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Many portions of the building are parts of medieval European structures which were put together by Allen, Collens & Willis with landscaping by Olmsted.

  • The most beautiful area of Manhatten. Winter offers snow hills and tree limbs shiny with thin coats of ice overlooking the Palisades, the Hudson River, and sunset over the George Washinton Bridge. The museum itself isn't bad either.
