Epps Park (Tampa, Florida)

USA / Florida / Egypt Lake-Leto / Tampa, Florida / W Fern Street at N Otis Avenue
 park, kayaking, greenway

Epps Park is park of the City of Tampa's Parks. It is a narrow stretch of land on the east bank of the Hillsborough River in Seminole Heights. The park features benches and picnic tables, but its most attractive amenity is the calm of the river.

Though not indicated as such in the city's greenways brochure, there is a sign at Epps Park indicating it is part of the Ross J. Ferlita Greenways and Trails System. Additionally, there is a sign noting the park's location along the Alan Wright Hillsborough River Blueway, a system of paddling trails for canoes and kayaks.

There are three park entrances:
* Corner of West Fern Street and North Otis Avenue
* Dead-end of West North Street
* Corner of West Lambright Street and North Lynn Avenue

Maps show a North River Boulevard running along the park's eastern side from the north entrance at the end of West Lambright down almost all the way to the south entrance at Fern. There is no such road along the park's upper half north of West North Street. There is a dirt road matching the route indicated for North River Boulevard at the West North Street entrance, but this is a gated driveway for a private residence.
