castle, Baroque (architecture)
The Jesuits from Hradec in the years 1681 - 1714 rebuilt an older castle by an Italian architect Carlo Antonio Luragho in Baroque style. The castle served not only to manage the estate, but also as Jesuits summer residence. After the cancellation of order in 1773 the owners changed. Between 1842 - 1843 Franz Riedl rebuilt the castle in present appearance. After the Prussian-Austrian war of 1866 there was placed a transient military hospital. The castle was gradually repaired ap to 2000.
