The Andalusia Mansion was home for generations to the Biddle family. The village of Andalusia takes its name from the mansion, which was probably named for the Andalusia region in Spain, named by its Moorish conquerors. The main building was built in 1795 and enlarged in 1806 and 1836. It is an excellent example of the Greek Revival style. Andalusia Mansion is a National Historic Landmark.
