Croydon, Bristol Township. Croydon's early beginnings bloomed as a vacation spot for the Philadelphia elite. Located on the Delaware River, there are still areas of beach at the Marina. Across the Delaware River is Burlington, NJ. Croydon is now home to a working/middle class and a corrupt Town Council. There is a main train line that travels south to Center City Philadelphia, and north to Trenton, NJ, SEPTA's R7 (Amtrak shares these rails as well). Croydon is also known as Kensington with trees.
