Veezhumala is a natural monument, believed by Vanoor people that the hill is a drop out from the parvatham taken by SRI HANUMAN at the time of RAMA RAVANA war to extract Mruthasanjeevani. Now most of the area is private land with rubber estates. In olden days Tigers used to come to villages around it and lifting cattles. And the top portion of the hill there are boat shaped big rock called CHATTAKKALLU.There is a cave called Chekiriaalha, means the cave for bats. There was an Ayyappa temple at the top where we used to go for worship with making Payasam at the top itself. We used to take Wooden shapes of cattles, calf and men,to submit to the God made by Chami asary or Kali asari stree. If ladies and old aged people are unable to treck to the top they join together and worship Ayyappa by making payasam at bottom of the hill itself.Avil, sarkara, coconut and pooja items were also being taken with us.Trecking to the top of the hill was very much unforgettable and never to get back again.
