Mekoryuk is an Alaskan city located at the mouth of Shoal Bay, on the north shore of Nunivak Island, in the Bering Sea. It is 30 miles west of the Alaskan mainland. At the 2000 census the population was 210.

Nunivak Island has been inhabited for 2,000 years by the Nuniwarmiut (Cup'ig) Eskimos, who maintain reindeer and musk ox herds and practice a subsistence lifestyle.
