This is an abandoned rest area that was closed down sometime in the 1980s. No buildings remain, but there is pavement, curbs and drainage pipes.

  • A victim of the modernization of Ohio's rest area facilities in the late 80s, some rest areas were brought up to modern standards (such as running water, toilets that flush,etc.) while others were shutdown permanently and torn down. A few of the old rest areas can still be found along state highways and US Routes.
