Brdatka Nature Reserve is on the south-east of the steep slope over the Berounka River between Krivoklatu and Zbecno. The objectss of protection are scree hillside forests and rocky outcrops. The driest areas are dwarfed oak woods. Trees are small, distorted growth. The prevailing trees are durmast, hornbeam, crane blubbering and torment birch and isolated pines. On the rocky places are relict (residual) pine woods.
