Bonneval Abbey is a Cistercian monastery, located in Le Cayrol, in the department of Aveyron, in the south of France. Founded in 1147 ad. by monks from Mazan Abbey.It is now inhabited by Trappist nuns.They installed a turbine on the river to produce electricity. In 1902, they founded what would become the Bon-Conseil Abbey, in Québec, Canada.
