Frigolet Abbey (Abbaye Saint-Michel de Frigolet) is a Premonstratensian (Norbertine) Priory, originally Benedictine, in southern France. It is located on the territory of the commune of Tarascon, in the region of the Montagnette, the parishes of which are served by the Canons of this Abbey.The religious community at Saint-Michel de Frigolet belongs to the Order of the Canons Regular of Prémontré. This order, known as the "Prémontrés" follows the Augustinian rule established by Saint Augustine, a bishop in North Africa who lived in a community with his clergy in the 5th century.
