Grand (Paragliders) dune

The maximum hight of the dune was 70 meters in the beginning of the XX century. Currently dune is 50 meters high. The hight decreased because of natural causes such as wind and extensive visiting and rolling down the dune.

During 1933-1939 Nida's paragliding school and summer paragliding camp was operating here.
