2517m Ibex Peak, Tamil Nadu

At 2517 meters, this is the second highest peak in the Palani Hills. It derives it's name from the Thar (Ibex) mountain goat that inhabit the steep cliffs below it's summit.

The boundary drawn for this place approximates the 8000ft (about 2440m) contour of this hill.
