St. George Church

Its construction was designed and supervised by master builder Dimitar Sergyov between 1848 – 1852. The church has a remarkable icons made by Dosyu Koyuv and Tsonuy Simeonov, which stop people’s breathing. Richly decorated bishop’s thrones in St. George church for several times show the skills of self – educated masters from this region. The iconostasis was the handiwork of Nikola Dragoshinov and Dimitar Doykovcheto.
