Hatton School is a community special school, primary aged special needs provision. This school admits up to 130 children from the ages of 3 to 11 years who have a range of needs. The school also provides support for children with Statements of Special Educational Needs in over 50 mainstream primary schools.

Hatton school caters for children whose needs lie on the autistic spectrum and those who have significant communication and related learning difficulties. We also have a successful and thriving Outreach Support Service which works in mainstream schools. The school has been the subject of two very successful Ofsted inspections in 1997 and 2000.

At Hatton there is a strong commitment to providing the maximum opportunities in order to achieve the school vision statement which is:-
