Georgetown Mill is committed to its employees and the community. In 2012, the mill will celebrate its 75th year. Each month the mill exports product globally by container, rail and truck. The Georgetown mill began operating in 1937. After a major reconstruction project in 1983, and with further improvements in the 1990's, the mill is an efficient, technologically advanced pulp and paper production facility.

The Georgetown mill's three paper machines are used to produce paper for file folders, pulp (used for absorbent products such as diapers and other personal care products) and other specialty grades such as wallboard tape, Reelcote and specialty envelope.
