Ozun City is located in the southern part of Field Nice, on the right bank of Black River, on Route 11, at an altitude of 515 m located near St. George.

Most common in Covasna consists of seven villages (Ozun, Sântionlunca, Lisnic, Bicfalau, Meadow Ozun, Măgheruş Lisnic-Valley) is situated in Brasov Depression, at the south-eastern borders of the county Alsóháromszék (Three Seats) at 9 km away from St. George, 27 km from Brasov, 30 km from Covasna.

A document from 1330, now considered false, mentions a Principality in Ozun. That pass though a state compatible with early awareness of continuity and existence of the Romanians in Ozun early centuries of the Middle Ages.

In Ozun there are many historical monuments. In the center we see the church reformed in the fifteenth century. with the basic plan as eggs, Catholic Church, Hall and Memorial Park.
In the village there are many mansions and castles built in the eighteenth century. (Belda-Mikes castle, mansion Újvárossy-Agoston mansion Temesváry etc.), Bearing signs of popular baroque, rococo and empire-style.

Lisnic place name comes from the Slavic word for "forest". In the first half of XIV century., Lisnic was a settlement taxable, the first document of the village dates from 1332.
