Mărcuş Monastery is an Orthodox Convent for nuns. The church is dedicated to 'Protection of the Mother of God'(ro:Acoperamântul Maicii Domnului)-celebrated in the 1st day of October,- and to 'The Sunday of the Romanian Saints'(ro:'Duminica Sfinţilor Români')-celebrated in the second Sunday after Pentecost. This Monastery was built by Serafima Comşa Abess in 1991 in Dobârlău Commune, 27 km NE from Braşov City and 20km NV from Întorsura Buzăului.
