Embrun is a city of 8,000 people in Ontario. It is located within a region called the Greater Embrun Area which has about 14,000 people, which is in turn part of a region called Prescott and Russell that has about 80,000 people. Embrun is the home of several hockey players, such as Martin St. Pierre and Nadine Bourdeau. Also, leader of the Libertarian Party of Canada, Jean Serge Brisson, was born and still lives in Embrun.
