  • Eudora Welty never went to Belhaven college. The only Mississippi college she went to was MS State College for Women, now known as MUW.
  • It doesn't say she went to Belhaven College. She did, however, live on Pinehurst Street, and her house can be seen from Belhaven's campus. Novelist Elizabeth Spenser, however, did go to Belhaven.
