Eastvale, California

USA / California / Norco /

A lovely bedroom community that has exploded since 2005, it incorporated in October, 2010. Northwest of Corona and Norco, east of Chino, and south of Ontario, this community that makes up the northwestern-most point of Riverside County was built on land that was formerly endless dairy farms, established by Dutch and Portuguese settlers over a hundred years ago. There are still lots of dairy farms out there, and also the Santa Ana River, which lend a nice semi-rural feel to the area, despite being somewhat densely packed with housing tracts, and being only 10-15 minutes away from lots of major IE cities (Corona, Riverside, Ontario, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga). See the stars and hear the owls hoot at night. The area is very close to the point where Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and Los Angeles Counties all meet, so it has become a popular area with homebuyers who commute to OC and LA for work but want more affordable homes. Uses Corona zip code 92880.
