Former Abbey was disloved and Closed and buildings put up for sale in 2011.It was Located on 550 acres in the sandstone hills of southwestern Wisconsin, the Cistercian Abbey of Our Lady of Spring Bank is a contemplative community of men seeking God in a common life of prayer, work, and study. Their life is a rich blend of solitude and community, public prayer and private contemplation, common work and individual study.



The abbey’s primary means of support was its online retail ventures, LaserMonks and MonkEGifts. Other work includes a campground, artistic production, and maintaining the property which is divided into forest lands and agricultural tracts leased to local farmers.
