Number 16 Sofiiskaya Embankment is a two-story half basement mansion built in 1844 now occupied by a branch of MosEnergo, the Moscow Regional Administration of Power System. The All-Russia Congress of Soviets approved a plan for the electrificiation of Russia in December 1920.
