Across Kadam River which is a tributary of Godavary River. The Kadam Dam is one of the notable attractions in Adilabad District. Constructed across the River Kadam, the dam is positioned at a place where the River Godavari merges with the Kadam. The main purpose of this dam is to irrigate about 25000 hectares in Adilabad. Built between 1949 and 1965, the Kadam Dam is popularly known as the Godavari North Canal project. It is an ideal destination for nature lovers as the dam is situated amidst scenic surroundings. Tourists can easily access the place as Adilabad lies within the Secunderabad-Manmad rail line.
