  • A magnificent temple constructed. The temple has one main deity namely 'Panchmukhi Hanumanji'. An excellent infrastructure has been constructed around it. Very well maintained. Temple has a bronze bell weighing 1100 Kgs. To maintain a temple requires dedication, devotion & most importantly devotees & patronage to meet it's running expenses. One committee person has to practically dedicate himself to the day to day activities of the temple. Basic simple functions also require a size able staff & other expenses of fixed nature. Trikaal pooja, abhishek, aarti & various poojas on auspicious days are a must. Cleanliness in the Garbha griha, Idol has to be cleaned regularly and should be free from any sticky coatings due to regular abhishek. Temple cleanliness is also compulsory. Prasad - daily preparation. Various other maintenance activities. Mostly a thankless job except for job satisfaction by the dedicated person. Maintenance of temple inventory including jewellery as well as gifts if any donated by devotees. Generally, the modern day temples do Not draw too many devotees like the famous Tirupati Balaji temple & various other pratisthit temples which are prominently known. These temples simply draw a huge crowd of devotees creating hospitality & conveyance infrastructure around it. I've visited this temple, nowhere I've observed any expectations by the temple committee/ employees from any of the devotees. A wonderful piece of work carried out by the committee. I wish them & particularly the person involved Fully - All the Best. Keep up the Good work & may the Lord bless you.
  • For those who are involved in the running of a temple would know, that entry into the Garbha graha (the enclosure having the idol/ deity) is restricted as per temple procedures to Pujari only. That means, the Garbha graha, where the idol is located has to be cleaned (including the idol) where various abhisheks are performed throughout the day especially with Tilli oil, sindur, milk, curd etc. Cleanliness is always on topmost priority. Larger the idol, larger the garbha graha & bigger the task of cleaning the idol & the garbha graha. Moreover, if you compare the more popular temples in the South, say the Rameshwaram or the Meenakshi temple, then these temples are all 'Very very high budget' temples, requiring the patronage of Kings only. Even the present bigwigs (except the Birlas), None have been able to construct such temples - ever. So guys appreciate good work & value the commitment, that the committee/ the person involved has to give. The person so committed can utilize his time for his business or growth or personal interests had he not been committed to this temple.
