Built in 1908 to the design of J. E. O. Pridmore.

This Tudor revival building originally had only six units, each with twelve to sixteen rooms. Two of the apartments had ballrooms. Once the home of the British Consul and known as the Prince of Wales House. By the 1990s, the building was abandoned but has now been renovated into condominiums.

  • There is no evidence that the Manor House was ever the British consulate or the home of its consul. The rumor probably derives from the crest on the wall which is related to the British monarch. LeRoy Blommaert Edgewater Historical Society
