This is National Defence Academy's gliderdrome and landing strip. Air Force cadets from the NDA learn gliding and powered flight here.

It is also the infamous start and finish point for the cross-country race of the NDA.

  • Since I have used Glider Drome for Civilian Parasailing Training I know the place. This small Run Way is simply fabulous. I have also created a Limca Record by giving flight to the Senior Most Person (83 years)Mr N K Mahajan on this glider drome. I have also seen sky Diving Jumps during Passing Out Parades. Enchanting experience to b there.
