Bidar Airbase (Airforce) Establish during pakistan bangladesh war in the year 1971. and that time it was only a airbase but now it is a one of the important and useful airfoce of indian airforce to train the poilets for passenger plane and fighter planes.
The Indian Govt. Purchase new Fighter planes from England & it came directly form england to Bidar airforce station.
and very soon this airforce station will start the civil aviation services for domestic flights.

  • Bidar airfield was built by the Nizam of Hyderabad during the unsettled conditions of 1943 -1947. It remained in disuse till activated by the Air Force with the location of No 2 Jet Training Wing in 1963. This was disbanded in 1965 and the airfield remained inactive till 1966.   • It is necessary to start domestic flight from Bidar to Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, because there are 40,000 passenger who are flying in the year 2012-13 (survey report).
