  • used to be a park but has been sold to private developers. i believe they're trying to build homes on the lake, but the city of Coppell is fighting it, stating that the residents (who would actually be residents of the city of Dallas) would cause their schools and other city amenities to be overloaded. they used to do a drive though Christmas light display here in the winter. now the park has a fence around it.
  • This area is in the City of Dallas, bound on the north and west by the City of Coppell and the east and south by the City of Irving. It is only connected to the City of Dallas proper by the East Fork of the Trinity River flowing to the southeast.
  • Development at the former park location has begun; the majority of the area is zoned for "medium density housing", likely apartment complexes.
