  we are the owners of this land. this is not a natural island. actually the lanka also the part of the main land. at that time a small stream was going one side of the land called "Domalavagu". still you can see the stream merging in the river near Pragallapalli'.sir arther cotton digged this and connected to the main river and he constructed two anicuts,one is on the main stream and the other one is on the diverted stream. on the diverted river he digged a small canal and fixed some doors for navigation.at that time there were no roads to transport the products which were collected from the forest.
