KUARADÉ is developed in a 186 hectare area on the north-eastern coast of Brazil, in the State of Piauí, more precisely in the Municipality of Luis Correia. It is at an 18 km distance from Parnaiba’s International Airport and a 30 km distance from the Delta do Parnaiba, the second largest sweet water river delta in the world, with more than 70 islands in an extension of 270,000 hectares. The site has a white sandy beach of more than 2km. In its warm waters different kinds of sports can be practiced (e.g. kite-surf World Championship trials 2007 and 2008 took place in this beach). Moreover, in the site you can find palm trees and other Brazilian exuberant species that offer the perfect scenary for an international touristic destination. KUARADÉ offers residential and hotel units, as well as sporting and commercial areas.

The resort’s name, KUARADÉ, comes from an ancient indian tribe, the xipaias, that used to occupy the land some centuries ago. It means “sun” and relates to the location’s spectacular weather conditions, given that it has an average of 300 sunny days per year and the temperature oscillates between 26 and 28 º C all year through.

To reach KUARADÉ’s objectives, we count with the experience of two well known partners: De Fournier will be executing the overall design of the project and Nicklaus Design will be responsible for the golf course’s design. The work of Delta do Parnaiba (responsible for the project), along with that of both partners, combined with the location’s beautiful landscape, great climate and proximity within South America to both Europe and the United States will make KUARADÉ a touristic destination of a high reference worldwide.
