Memorial crosses for the victims of the Columbine shootings. Kind of a somber place. The crosses are black marble. They drew some controversy when constructed as people were split as to whether Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold should be memorialized along with their victims. The argument in the affirmative is that they, too were victims of the system that led them to lash out. The view is more plausible, perhaps, if you take the perspective that the whole incident was tragic, not just the murders.
