The Alumni Plaza contains monuments and markers that honor NMMI's distinguished alumni. Extending from the center platform are bricks laid out in the shape of a New Mexico Zia. Surrounding the plaza are flag poles from each of the fifty states. Each corner of the plaza contains a memorial statue dedicated to the men and women who fought, died and otherwise sacrificed during the country's various wars. Benches dedicated to various alumni surround each memorial.
