  • To those still not self-conscious in IS Division . Please receive statement that you all in facts always in confusion . Your Boss always to self-control over you due to part of his indeed he duty, but actually too much. Barely that we're very regretted to the method of IS Division Management work which is actually not a good problem solver. They're more focus to personal attack and interested inclined to find others mistake . In fact , their duty is to find settlement professionally and no too towards to put blame on people mistakes. We're not that kind of stupid. We talked here because it doesn't mean we know how to do management's job but for sure at least we know how to compared!

  • Haha..luckily I do not work in IS division. Peter Chan, You are just a lousy manager who know to threatening your staffs. You should take some courses about business management. From what I see, I think you should take the most basic course-"Introduction to management". The study material should has a lot of useful information that can teach you how to manage the IS division. You are not dare to facing the problems now. what I can say is solve it properly and not make it become worse. If you a stubborn guy and always think that all the things you do is right then I can't say nothing.

  • Here a lot of higher level management know how to play tai chi.... when problem come, play tai chi and push all the problem to the lower staff. What a good way to prevent being shoot by bosses. Never survey before doing anything, after do then feel cannot work, then change again. Rules changing everyday. Follow also get scolded, not follow sure get scolded. If have chance to leave, never come back again.

  • Bro speechless,site-survey and all others open minded members, While we're saying this I am imagining these poor chaps' managers hiding under a table somewhere. Very government like isn't it? The above reason caused the the entire thing to fail miserably. This reason alone led to others, like the failure to explain convincingly and clearly. Since they are already a lousy management, obvious they cannot make any commitments or any decisions, so what is the point of that? Might as well doing their routine jobs as usual, with same attitude, called for daily meeting ( such a waste of time and company money actually !! )and keep passing the buck around until it smells of rotting flesh. This is is our honest opinion on how things transpired. Thank you for reading and any objective input is very much welcomed.We're more comfortable sitting here at our leisure time writing about these issues. Nevertheless, lets pause for a moment and try to think, if we're sharing it here openly and the fact that Toray management had sent a special team investigate did not amount to anything...hmmmm ( Pin drop silence?) It's not too late, if they did had the courtesy, we would have expressed our gratitude very openly here.

  • To top management of IS Div (esp to Peter Chan & SH Ng) I’m 100% agreed with ArrograntDisposal’s comments and statement. In fact that is the truth. I am an user for TMG co, I will retire soon but I have seen so much changes in IS Div. Let me recalled what have happened to IS Div before and after. During 1980 & 90, Systems (at that time not yet named IS Div) under leading Mr. HT Sim, users and Systems staffs are happy with his leadership. Tough on and off there were staffs resigned but they left happily. During 1990 after Mr. Sim resigned Peter Chan was promoted and took over Systems, a lot of hanky panky things happened. Came office late, went back early, dealing his personal business in office hour. Many projects were delayed, failed and program full of error. That is reason Toray Japan has sent Mr. Shimano to Systems since 2004……..Since then a lot of revolution has been done. And Systems has been named as IS Div. After Shimano went back the situation was not improved but back to Peter’s style of management. Many capable staffs resigned……….and it continues happened till today. We all users fully aware what had happened because most of unhappy staffs who has resigned would expressed their unhappiness to us. The impact was so great that after IS staffs resigned, the service may not been delivered as good as compare to original. That is company loss. I still remembered many years ago there was a lady staff came to my office and cried due to unfair treatment from management. After a while she has resigned. I feel so sad as I have observed and monitored majority IS staffs were resigned unwillingness. To HR, they may not know what is the true story because those who have resigned they would said they got better offer but the real fact they have been treated unfair. I can feel their disappointment, sad, sorrow ………but I’m not able to help. Therefore I am agreed with Arrogant Disposal that this is not a story but this is the real fact. This is not a black mail but sincere comments so that Toray Management can do something especially HR department has not doing anything at all with this matter. Tough I am just an ordinary user but I do believe: A good leader must not simply shouting to others just because of he or she has done mistake. A good leader must not simply shout to others without investigate. A good leader must not insult others in front of his or her staffs. A good leader must not insult others in front of vendors. A good leader must guide instead of just shout. A good leader must investigate first before blame others. A good leader must protect or guide his subordinate instead of threatening. The high turnover rate has reflected something wrong in management. It’s not just a pay matter, it better to leave this issue to HR to find out more. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.'' We have policy and procedure but IS seems to be enforced selectively. Double standard, bias and unjust. Look at the whole episode of PC obsolete project, so messy…..so much complain, so many standards…… Dear MD, Directors & Managers, The consequences for not doing the right thing at this stage may be so great that it overwhelms whatever gains this temporary stewardship of IS Div brings. We all as users do believe Judgment day eventually comes for us all and do bring good life for IS Div. I salute those people who are brave enough to voice up without fear and fair. At the end they just hope the IS Div can be improved .

Dear Frustrated Users, my very high appreciation of your kindness to share an old history of System Dept. ( now IS Division) with us, thank you very much for your supporting . I’ve seen Peter Chan changed now, less talking and less finding reason to shoot people. I guess maybe he has been called by upper management for show cause on what's currently going on issue. But still sad to say that this company had lost many good and capable staff . But still I can see IS Management sat comfortably without wondering anything . I did not see any kind of attempt to review themselves or post mortem to what when wrong for loosing some good staffs. They’re pointing IS Division turnover problem to someone else and caused to the resigned staff itself. They don't seem to feel a valuable lost to their Departmentat all. They should aware of others Department perception to their Management skill and Toray MD/Directors should review all IS Division Management either is it still suitable for them to stay there or GET LOST from IS Division !!! I feel possibility some of your comment here has given a little impact to him and Toray Management. Congratulation to all of you by not giving up try to dig for truth and to correct imperfect matter inside IS Division. I appreciate very much your commitment and comment somewhat to improve conditions here. I hope nightmare in IS Division will be end very soon !
  • To Top Management of IS Div, Directors, Managers, DMD & MD. What is see today is caused by yesterday. What happen today? Good staffs resigned, contract staffs discontinue their service, staffs shows their anger, frustrated, WIKIMAPIA.........these all are effect. You all can easily see what happen now in IS (not bullshit). What was the caused by yesterday? Treated unfair, lousy management, management without clear direction, bias, double standard .................all these caused the staffs resigned, force to resign and discontinue. These were cause. Sadly to say IS management never learn from history or mistake. What "frustrate users" and "arrogant disposal" said were true and crystal clear. Even though today you may see some staffs discontinue their service.....why? Why? Why? If the IS Div is so good why the unhealthy turnover rate still continue until today. Why IS management cannot stop it? Something very wrong in somewhere, right? We as users feel that your service become poor and worse after your staffs left and discontinue. How much time you are going to train your new staffs? Three months or half year? What happen to users service? There are so much issue which you guys shall think now, improve now. However you all only take action towards the effect (sending MIB - Bha & Vis to spy) but not tackle the cause.......what is this? I hope top management can consider restructure current IS in order to improve their service before it was too late.
