Buckner Cave preserve is managed by the RBNC, and overlays the 3.5 mile long Buckner Cave system.

Buckner Cave had one of the coolest natural features in any Indiana cave, known as "the corkscrew" which is literally what is resembled and required extreme care to navigate.

It had to be obliterated a few years ago when some local pothead fell and broke his back in the next room, which forced rescuers to blast the corkscrew into history.
