This, combined with the intersection immediately north, and the intersection immediately south represents one of the crummiest bottlenecks in the county. Woodstock is dragging its feet on fixing it, too, and don't expect to actually begin constructing a solution for at least 12 years. Seems like it has been in the discovery phase of development for an eternity. Woodstock is one of the best places in the world to live, but the city's planning for Route 47 over the last several decades is embarassing, not to mention surpressing growth. Yeah, this is just an opinion, but ask anyone who lives here & they'll tell you the same.
