Shahbaz Neekah

This is the Sunni Khel mountains range where the shrine of Shabaz Neekah is located. There is a famous story about his death at the hands of criminals. It is stated that he was a shappered and once armed criminals came for looting his goats and sheeps. They killed Shbaz Neekah and run away. Meanwhile, some passerby saw that Shahbaz Neekah was carrying his cutted head in his lap, the time passerby cried to see this horrible scene, Shabaz Neekah laid his head and body. Later on people built a shrine there to express respect for Shahbaz Neekah as great saint. I traveled to this shrine in 1971 from Bosti Khel village. It took more than four hours to reach there on foot through rocky mountain track. In shrine, people recite Quran and perform Nawafil. This is very peaceful place. I wish to go once again.
