Lokomotiv (Tavriia) Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Simferopol. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home of FC TSK Simferopol. The stadium holds 19,978 people and was built in 1967 and renovated in 2004.
The remarkable is the fact that the stadium was the base stadium during the UEFA Euro 1988 qualifying. The stadium accepted two of the four games of the qualifying campaign with including national teams of Norway and Iceland. Both games gathered crowd of more than 30,000 people. One other game was played in Kiev and the other one in Moscow. Later November 15, 1989 the stadium also hosted a game of the 1990 FIFA World Cup qualification against the national team of Turkey.

Sports Club Tavriia (Ukrainian: Спортивний клуб "Таврія") was a Ukrainian football club from Simferopol. The original Tavriia was a member of the Ukrainian Premier League from its founding, and won the first Ukrainian Premier League, making them one of three teams that have ever held this title.
After 2014 Tavriia asked permission from UEFA and FIFA to shift to the Russian league next season. The club applied for a Russian license and changed its name to FC TSK Simferopol. The club currently plays in the Crimean Premier League.
In 2015, the Football Federation of Ukraine executive committee voted in favor of re-establishing the club now to be located in Kherson.
