Nikolaevsk is an unincorporated community in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska.
The population was 296 as of 2008.
Nikolaevsk is primarily a religious settlement of "Russian Old Believers," whose ancestors first settled in Woodburn, Oregon after the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 forced them out of Russia. The community then purchased land and migrated to the Kenai Peninsula after receiving a grant from the Tolstoy Foundation in 1967.
Most residents speak Russian as a primary language, and wear traditional clothing.
