The headquarters of the world's largest discounter (more facilities to the east). They control every Walmart (branded as Wal-Mart until around 2009), Sam's Club, and myriads of others overseas. The company is unambiguously extremely successful, but highly polarizing, to say the least.

  • There are 8 Wal~Mart Sam's Club organizations here. Wow. Talk about saturation. How do the people of Bentonville feel about this?
  • Well, it's a town of 25,000...and the world headquarters of WalMart Stores. And major vendors are required to have offices in the area. So basically everyone living there doesn't find it very odd, it's the entire reason they and their neighbors moved. An interesting town really.
