Ikel lakes (Năpădeni)

These are wonderful lakes of Ikel placed just next to the famous Codru forests of Moldova, which is about 70km from Chisinau. Nowadays some of the lakes are private or rented by private fish industries (About 80% of all Moldovan lakes are private). Current owners can let you fish there for some money only for special sort of fish, while other sorts you have to let go back into the lake.

Owners often use electric fishing rods to catch the fish and the result of this you can see in the picture. A lot of dead fish is drifting on the lake surface.
