The Kenora Canadian Pacific Railway station was built in 1898 on the CPR mainline between Thunder Bay and Winnipeg. This is a classic CPR design to serve a population of about 5,000 to 10,0000 people. There are similar stations in Revelstoke, B.C., and Medicine Hat, Alberta.

The station is located in the heart of Redditt, which is only half an hour north of Kenora.
