Reno Air Race Formula 1 & Biplane Course (Reno, Nevada)

This course measures 3.1875 nautical miles in length. Aircraft average a speed of approx. 250mph at a 3g load, depending on each aircrafts rating within its respective class. Each pylon is manned by 5-6 judges who are responsible for recording each aircrafts position during the race; that no aircraft cuts inside or below the level of the pylon; and that all passing is achieved by passing above and outside of the slower aircraft.
