  • Viswanadhapalli is known for the presence of Nancharamma Amma Temple. Every year in the month of Feb/March, Ammavari sambaralu will be celebrated very grandly. It is a 15-day long celebration which starts on the first day of the telugu month palguna masam and ends on the full moon day in this month. First, the vutsava vigraham of Amma will be taken to premises of each house in the villages, Viswanadhapalli, V. Kottapalem, Kummarapalem and Gaba, and allow the people to perform poojas to Amma at their homes itself. I guess, this is the only place where deity will go each and every individual house and offer blessing to her beloved children. Finally, by the full moon day, Amma will come back to the main temple at Viswanadhapalli. Then there will be 3-day long grand festival at the main temple. Usually, around 30-40 thousand people from various parts of andhrapradesh attend this festival in these 3 days and take the blessings of Amma. Also, there is an ancient Lord Siva temple in this village.
