Home of the British Army! Its leadership lost it's way due to a Local Council with strong Farnborough bias, but now the investors are coming back and building some very impressive housing developments and also rebuilding the tired shopping centre. It stretches from Farnborough in the north to Farnham in the south. Together with Farnborough it constitutes the borough of Rushmoor.

  • I disagree about 'strong Farnborough bias' Farnborough also has it's difficulties due to the changing nature of the town.
  • At the same time, Farnborough is bigger than Aldershot so you can understand why it often gets more attention.
  • I still think it was a bad idea giving Farnborough and Aldershot - two rival towns - a shared council.
