This small supermarket was originally a Weingarten. It was sold to Safeway in 1984 and converted to AppleTree in 1989 (after Safeway spun off the division). After AppleTree sold off its stores, it re-opened as a Randalls in 1994. Safeway would later re-gain control of the store when it acquired the Randalls chain in 1999. Today, the store is a modern "Lifestyle" store, and despite the store's size, it still has the essentials of a full-service supermarket, including a floral department, a Signature Café-equipped deli featuring prepared dishes and sandwiches, a bakery, meat & seafood, a drive-through pharmacy, and a beer and wine department.
