  • I had the famous poster of Maline Lake on my bedroom wall for years, I went to Alaska and worked all summer then drove home. I went canoe camping on Maline and just happened upon this perfect spot for a photo. The weather and light were perfect. When I returned home to my suprise was my poster which I had forgotten about all summer. I couldn't beleive out of all the lakes to end up canoeing on along the road from Utah to Alaska that It was the one on my wall. When I developed my film I had the identical shot except for the water was a foot lower in mine. Crazy.
