Former Hunting Lodge of the colourful sponsor of the Arts Franciscus Anton Count of Sporck, sometimes known as the Father of Czech Freemasonry, was built in 1669. Roztez Castle has been extensively rebuilt in subsequent centuries, most recently in the style of Viennese art-nouveau classicism at the end of 19th century.
Castle is not accessible, a golf course was established in the closeness to the manor park in last years. Large fallow-deer park is in close neighbour.
