The area is a newly constructed mini-park called Balayan Baywalk, around 500 square meters in size, and which construction was finished last January 1, 2009 and currently open ti public as a leisure area. This is a joint project of the municipal government of Balayan under the administration of Mayor Emmanuel O. Fronda and the office the 1st District Representative Aileen Ermita-Buhain.
